NORTHWEST VIETNAM TOUR ITINERARY TO HA GIANG SAPA 5 DAYS

Night 1: Hanoi To Sapa

9:00 AM: Our private car will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi City or Noi Bai International Airport. Then, you will start the Northwest Vietnam tour from Hanoi with a 5-hour travel to Sapa.

Lunch is not provided. But if you want to have lunch, our driver is happy to find a decent eatery to drop by on the way.

2:00 PM: You reach your hotel in Sapa Town and check-in. Now, you will have free time to relax, eat out, and fall into a nice slumber for the upcoming Sapa tour.

These times can be adjusted to your preferences. Yet, please note that you need 5 hours of transferring and can only check in to Sapa hotel after 2 PM.

Day 1: Sapa Villages: Y Linh Ho & Lao Chai

8:00 AM: Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel in Sapa Town. Then, you check out, and your first morning in Sapa will begin with a visit to Y Linh Ho Village (7 kilometers away).

Y Linh Ho Village enchants visitors due to its unbelievably dreamy and pristine beauty. It looks like a valley because the majestic Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range encloses it. Also, it boasts an extensive area of picturesque terrace fields, charming streams, and unique indigenous homes.

1:00 PM: After your noon break, our private car will come to pick you up for a Ha Giang loop tour from Sapa. You will enjoy the 6-hour road trip through impressive, scenic loops in the A/C comfortable car.

7:00 PM: You arrive at your accommodation in Ha Giang City. Then, you check in and cool down for a night before tomorrow’s Ha Giang tour.

Day 3: Ha Giang Towns: Yen Minh & Dong Van

8:00 AM: After you check out from your hotel room in Ha Giang City, our private car will pick you up. Then, you will travel 100 kilometers (2.5 hours) to Yen Minh Town. You can watch striking loops, mysterious pine forests, and remote mountains on the way.

10:30 AM: Now, you will spend time touring this mountainous town. Yen Minh is known for its long-standing culture and untouched scenery. It’s home to 15 Indigenous peoples, creating a diverse identity for the land. Furthermore, you will visit its top three attractions: pine forest, Tham Ma Slope, and the local market.

Noon: You will have lunch in Yen Minh Town when you’re hungry. Local dishes promise to fill up your energy again.

2:00 PM: Next on the Northwest Vietnam tour in Ha Giang, the private car will transfer you to Dong Van Town in an hour. Dong Van is the northernmost town of Vietnam, bordering China. Day 4: Ma Pi Leng Pass & Du Gia Village

8:00 AM: Our driver will show up at your homestay in Dong Van, and you check out to start conquering the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It’s the most challenging in the northwest region and among the four greatest passes in Vietnam. Depending on the season, you will see different views on the way, such as cherry blossoms in spring, golden ripe fields in September, and even snow in winter.

Noon: You reach a local restaurant in Du Gia Village and relax with a flavorful lunch.

1:30 PM: After lunch, you start exploring the small local village of Du Gia. Here, you can find the homes of mainly two Vietnamese Indigenous peoples, Tay and H’Mong. They nestle amidst the setting of towering mountains, crystal clear streams, and year-round green lawns. It’s still new for tourists, so you can enjoy a less touristy atmosphere.

4:30 PM: You will check in at a homestay in Du Gia Village. Here, you will eat, enjoy a healing, peaceful ambiance, and rest well to refill for the last day on the Northwest Vietnam tour.

Day 5: Lung Tam Village – Back To Hanoi
