CU CHI TUNNELS HALF-DAY TOUR ITINERARY
Around 8:00 am or 12:30, we will pick you up at your location in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. If you are not staying in District 1, please contact us via WhatsApp for further support.
Our local tour guide will give you an overview of the journey and the Cu Chi Tunnels and its history. This is a fascinating underground system with a total length of about 250 kilometers, containing an important role in the victory of Vietnamese people in the Anti-American War For National Salvation.
After arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels, we will watch a short documentary film for a deeper understanding of the history and how fierce the war was in this place. After that, the local guide will explain some unique places and start to discover the massive tunnels.
We will climb inside to know firsthand where and how the Vietnamese soldiers built underground sleeping quarters, command bunkers, clinics, kitchens, etc.
On the tour, you can taste some local war food such as boiled cassava, sesame, and hot tea. You can ask our local guide and people to know more about the past and present life here.
