Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights Itinerary

Day 1: Depart From Phong Nha To Kong Collapse

In The Morning

8:00 am: Our driver will come and pick you up at your hotel in Phong Nha and transfer you to headquarters. Noted: If you live far away from Phong Nha, like in Dong Hoi, you have to pay the charge because the distance will be longer.

9:00 am: Then, you will meet the expert who will explain to you the travel schedule and safety rules before officially beginning the Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights journey.

9:30 am: After completing the regulation course and getting all the essential equipment, the driver will bring you to the trekking site. If you travel by motorbike, the whole route will be nearly 24km to the forest’s edge.

10:15 am: When you get to the forest, our journey through the jungle system will start immediately. At first, the terrain will not be stable and you may be not into it. The route is steep and hard to navigate. Crowded paths are requesting you to get through. Besides, you also have to pass the streams as well. Therefore, let’s be careful!

During the Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights, our international tour guide will share you with many stories about the Arem people’s life. Those residents used to settle in here. Additionally, the guide will show you how the indigenous people could survive in this harsh environment.

12:10 pm: After nearly two walking hours in the forest, we will reach the Wind Slope top. Here, you can feel the cool breezes and admire the panoramic natural landscapes. You will be surprised by what you see in front of your eyes.

Then, let’s spend time enjoying delicious lunch and recharging our batteries. You just need to sit, relax, and our team to prepare lunch for you.

In The Afternoon

1:00 pm: After lunchtime, our team will continue experiencing the Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights. We will conquer Wind Slope and the Eel Slope next. This is not a long road but you also need to be careful because it is quite slippery.

3:00 pm: We will reach the Tiger Cave entrance, also known as Dai A cave. Let’s change our clothes and get on some safety equipment because we are going to swim through Tiger Cave to get to Kong Collapse.

*The guide will lead you to follow the upper path to get to Kong Collapse if our team meets high water that is not supposed to swim.

3:30 pm: When everything like costume change is on set, we will swim over 300 to conquer first place in Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights, Tiger Cave.

4:00 pm: As soon as successfully conquer Kong Collapse, we will set up camp and stay overnight here.

4:00 – 5:00 pm: The Porter team will set up camp during your resting time while another team will prepare dinner.

5:30 pm: we will have lunch at Kong Collapse and enjoys the rest of the night. Our team can get along with each other when sitting around the fire and telling stories.

9:30 pm: It’s bedtime. You are not allowed to leave the camp and get to an area far away from the camp.

Day 2: The Tiger Cave Series (5.5 km length caves)

In The Morning

8:00 am: Breakfast time;

9:00 am: After having breakfast, let’s pack your stuff and get ready to explore Tiger Cave, Hang Over, and Pygmy Cave in our Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights tour!

9:00 – 11:00 am: Last day, we already discovered the Tiger Cave lower entrance. Next, we will go to explore Tiger Cave’s higher areas. Moreover, this route requires you to have good physical strength because you have to undergo high rocks and the river.

11:30 am: As soon as getting to the Tiger Cave exit, we will begin moving on to the next destination, Hang Over. We will go through the forest inside Kong Collapse to reach Hang Over.

Noon: When we get to Hang Over, the cave entrance will be our stop to enjoy lunch. We will prepare local specialties for you to taste the outstanding flavor here. There are steamed rice, grilled chicken, fried tofu, and so on. 

In The Afternoon

12:30 pm: After exploring Hang Over, our team will continue to explore the next step in the Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights journey. Before starting, you should ensure that you prepare enough safety equipment to explore this 3.2 km-long cave. Because you are going to discover deep underground, you need to make sure that you will be safe.

Walking deeper inside Hang Over, you will only see darkness due to a lack of lights under the ground. However, we have the flashlight to give you a hand in navigating in a large cave. You will be overwhelmed because of the beauty inside the cave. There are colorful stalactites in unique shapes and a huge arching expanse – Massive Attack.

1:30 – 3:00 pm: We will walk about 20 minutes to the Hang Over exit and then reach the second doline – or known as a sinkhole, between Hang Over and Pygmy Cave. A huge rainforest will appear in front of your eyes inside.

3:20 pm: When getting to the Pygmy Cave entrance, we will explore the world’s 4th largest cave. This is the most meaningful and incredible journey that you cannot forget for the rest of your life.

3:45 pm: Our team will reach the Dinosaur Spike top in Pygmy Cave. Afterward, we will conquer the spikes and climb down about 10m to the Pygmy cave floor. There is the only spot catching the light inside the cave.

4:00 pm: We will get to the Pygmy cave entrance with 100 meters in height and width. We will set up the base camp and enjoy the whole night here.

5:00 – 6:00 pm: Free time for you to take beautiful photos and wander around the camp.

6:00 pm: Let’s ready for dinner.

9:30 pm: Get back to the camp and get sleep.

Day 3: Say Goodbye To Phong Nha – Ke Bang Naitonal Park And Go Home

In The Morning

8:00 am: Have breakfast and pack all our things to leave the cave.

9:00 am: Take some group photos at the Pygmy Cave to save memory and get ready to move out of there.

9:30 am: We will say goodbye to the Pygmy Cave and keep discovering the Tiger Cave Series Adventure 3 Days 2 Nights journey crossing the ancient jungle. After getting away from Pygmy Cave, you will meet huge limestone mountain systems and adjacent valleys. This terrain is not easy to move smoothly.

10:30 am: We will reach “Doc Co”, which is quite steep and will take a lot of your energy. If you are lucky, you will witness shallow streams and beautiful waterfalls in case it rains.

Noon: Enjoy our lunchtime

In The Afternoon

2:00 pm: Then, our team will get to the trailhead. We can spend a bit of time drinking a cold drink while waiting for our ride. In only 15 minutes, the driver will come to pick you up and transfer you back to headquarters.

3:00 pm: We will reach the headquarter in about 1 hour. Then, you can shower, change clothes and get back to your destination in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi. Our Tiger Cave Series Adventure trip ends.
